It’s called Remix: The Finale, and the big difference appears to be scale. Instead of one artist, the event will feature four: Snoop, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD. All of them have been featured in the game’s current season (Eminem also had his own solo event a year ago), with locations on the battle royale map, alongside a gigantic Juice WRLD looming over the island for the past week.
Fortnite developer Epic says that the event “connects dreamscapes” from each artist, so it’ll likely be pretty trippy. It’ll also feature a new Juice WRLD track called “Empty Out Your Pockets,” as well as a Snoop song with Sting called “Another Part Of Me.”
Music aside, the event is also notable because it will kick off the game’s next chapter, which starts on December 1st. Here’s everything you need to know heading in.
When is Fortnite’s Remix: The Finale event, and how do I watch?
The concert starts on November 30th at 2PM ET, and it takes place inside of Fortnite itself. As always, Epic suggests logging into the game early to ensure you get a spot; the virtual doors open at 1:20PM ET. The developer also says that it will be airing an encore performance later the same day “assuming no technical issues arise.” No specific time has been announced yet.
If you can’t get to a console or PC in time, Twitch and YouTube will almost definitely feature plenty of Fortnite streamers so you can still catch the event live.
The next chapter and season of Fortnite’s battle royale begins on December 1st, the day after the concert. And Epic has already shared quite a bit about what to expect. The new season is called “Hunters,” and in it players will take on the role of some kind of ronin who is tasked with hunting demons.
